Homework
I just wanted to remind everyone about homework It will come home at the beginning of each month on the back of the first grade newsletter. (It's on bright green paper this month.) Please make sure you sign each week indicating that your child has practiced the sight words, word study words, and read five books. As I was checking yesterday, I noticed only 5 students had parent signatures. Also, it might be a good idea to keep the homework paper in the folder behind the calendar so it doesn't get lost!

-Scholastic Book orders are due on Friday.
This week we will be learning about weather and ways to make the numbers 6, 7, & 8. Due to the short week last week (and the short week this week) we will continue with nouns and short i.
