Culture

As part of our unit on culture, we read Shades of People by Shelley Rotner and Sheila M. Kelly. The kids really enjoyed learning that our skin is just a covering - like wrapping paper.

Homework

Due to the short week, there will be no homework this week!

Thank You!

Thank you so much for signing and returning the forms that were sent home last week!  100% of our forms were returned, so we had snowcones to celebrate!

Flags

We learned about windy weather this week and made flags to see if they would blow in the wind!

Two Forms

Two forms are coming home with your child today. Please fill out both of them and return to school tomorrow. It is very important that we receive these from every student at A.Z. Kelley. Your child will get a free snow cone if they return the signed forms TOMORROW!

Thanks for your help!

Rock Stars

Check out these adorable rock stars!

Welcome!

Welcome to first grade!  I have really enjoyed getting to know all of my new students, and I’m looking forward to a great year.  Check back often for updates!
