Tuesday, January 22nd - Scholastic Book Orders are due.

Friday, January 25th - Items for the 100th Day of School are due. A bright yellow sheet went home last week with a checkmark next to the item for your child to bring to school.  Let me know if you need another sheet!

Yearbooks

There's still time to order a yearbook!  The cost is $20. You can pay with cash or check or even order

online at www.inter-state.com/yearbook with the code 32086G. 

Holidays Around the World

Last week we learned about eight different holidays celebrated around the world (Hanukkah, Las Posadas, Chinese New Year, Christmas, Kwanzaa, St. Lucia Day, Diwali, and Eid). At the end of the week, students chose one of the holidays to make a poster showing what they learned.  Check them out!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up for a time to meet on Tuesday, November 6th.  If you haven't signed up yet, please do so on Monday.  I'm looking forward to meeting with all of you!  Below is a photo of the sign-up form that was sent home October 29th.  

Week of October 8th

Reminder: Picture Day is tomorrow (October 9th).  Student do not have to wear SSA, but should dress nicely.

 

AZ Kelley is collecting Box Tops again this year!  Please help us earn money by cutting them off your products at home and sending them to school.

Jeans on Fridays

  

We finally reached our PTA membership goal!  Students can begin wearing blue jeans on Fridays this week.  An A.Z. Kelley shirt or SSA shirt must be worn with the jeans.  Thank you to all the families that joined PTA!
